As the days grow longer, for us in the northern hemisphere, we are starting to look forward to getting out and about again. There are also promising declarations being made by the government about when they propose to lift our lockdown restrictions. Schools are starting to open up again, and there is talk of allowing Campsites to open towards the end of April. So it is with a little hope and excitement that we post our latest communication.
In the meantime, we are just enjoying the extended daylight and the more frequent sunny days as snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils start to pop up all around us! The attached photograph was taken on 1st March, and the city was awash with a fantastic sunset.
Maybe it time to start dusting off the camping gear, give Iona a good spring clean and stocking up on provisions in the expectation that we may just be allowed to get out and travel again. Watch this space.......
