Happy New Year

We hope that you all managed to celebrate the New Year and that you are all safe and well.

Sadly, we had to say “goodbye” to our wonderful and devoted travel companion Tashi on 22nd December when he finally succumbed to the lymphoma he was diagnosed with back in October 2018. However, as we were advised at the time that we would be lucky to have him with us over Christmas ‘18, we were very blessed to have him around for almost two more years. As you will know from the photos, Tashi took to “van life” from the start and he really did enjoy his trips with us around Scotland and we will greatly miss his companionship whenever we get to travel again.

On that topic, we have just been put into a stricter ‘lockdown’ on mainland Scotland and are not allowed to travel for recreational purposes, and this situation has been imposed on us for at least the next three weeks. It is very frustarting as we would love to be out there reporting on the winter season in our wonderful country but it looks like we will have to wait.

In the meantime, thanks for stopping by and we hope to resume ‘normal service’ in the not too distant future. Take care and stay safe.......
